Hi! I’m Charley Holt, an actor originally from Utah and now based in New York City. I love bringing energy, heart, and a little unexpected spunk to the characters I play, whether that’s on stage or on screen. I’m especially excited by roles that balance humor with vulnerability and let me explore bold, specific, and delightfully unconventional women. Some of my dream roles include Jo March in Little Women, Beatrice in Much Ado About Nothing, Catherine in Proof, Molly in Peter and the Starcatcher, and Elizabeth Bennet in Pride and Prejudice. I earned my BFA from the University of Utah, where I built a strong foundation in performance, storytelling, and the kind of artistic curiosity that keeps me excited about this work. My training in both theatre and film has shaped me into a versatile performer who loves diving into unique roles and finding what makes each character feel honest, specific, and alive. Alongside acting, I’m also a playwright. Creating new work is one of my favorite ways to explore complex relationships, challenge perspectives, and dig into the wonderfully messy parts of being human. As an artist, I’m always eager to keep learning, take creative risks, and push myself into new territory!
