Ella Frank
My name is Ella Frank, and I am originally from Rochester, Minnesota. I am a first generation American who has a strong connection to my Russian/Jewish heritage. This could explain why my parents chose to move from one frozen tundra (Russia) to another (Minnesota). I graduated from the University of Utah with a BFA in Acting and a BA in Psychology. While here, I have performed in many feature films including Almost Home (NYLA International Film Festival) and A Haunted Heart (UMOFA), as well as theater performances like The Heart of Robinhood (Marion) and The Cherry Orchard (Ranevskaya). As I played strong female leads with kind hearts, I found a bit of my heart. Some of my favorite pastimes that I love are making jewelry, painting, teaching stage combat, playing with my chihuahuas, and studying Russian. I look forward to moving to New York this fall and meeting wonderful creatives to collaborate with and learn from (hopefully that includes you)!
